TheCleaningDons — Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: August 9, 2025

1. Satisfaction Guarantee & Re‑Clean Policy

If you're not fully satisfied with your cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We'll provide a re-clean of the affected area(s) at no additional charge. If you're still unsatisfied after the re-clean, we may offer a partial or full refund, at our discretion.

2. Cancellation & No‑Show Policy

  • ≥ 24 hours' notice: No charge or full refund if prepaid.

  • < 24 hours' notice: A 50% cancellation fee of the total scheduled service may apply.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows: Full service fee is charged.

  • If our team cannot access your property (e.g., locked door, no key), the full service fee applies.

3. Refund Eligibility & Processing

Refunds are considered only if reported within 24 hours and after a re-clean has been attempted. To request a refund, please submit:

  • Your name

  • Service date & time

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method.

4. Situations Excluded from Refunds

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Complaints made after 24 hours post-service

  • Issues due to client-side factors (e.g., cluttered spaces, personal preferences not communicated in advance)

  • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear

  • Cancellations with insufficient notice or same-day reschedules

5. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting on our website or being directly communicated to clients. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of these terms.
